A Direct Approach to Wellness.
A Better Path than the Status Quo.
Healthcare shouldn’t feel like an uphill battle filled with rushed appointments, clinical barriers, and surprise bills. The truth is, the corporate system often treats patients like barcodes, leaving you waiting weeks for a 10-minute visit. At Avalanche Family Practice, we’ve cleared the path for something better—primary care that is affordable, accessible, and rooted in a partnership that treats you like family.
Time to Be Heard
We’ve buried the 10-minute "conveyor-belt" appointment for good. We give you the time you actually need to feel heard, seen, and understood. Our visits are designed to ensure you never feel rushed, allowing us the space to build a real relationship, listen to your story, and partner together on your health.
Direct Access, No Barriers
Care on Your Schedule Experience a practice that moves at the speed of your life. With same-week scheduling and flexible visit options, you get direct access to your provider without the corporate "phone tag" or crowded waiting rooms.

Insurance Information
We currently accept a variety of insurance plans. Because provider networks can change, we will contact your insurance carrier directly to confirm that Christina Proulx FNP-BC is an in-network provider for your specific plan prior to making an appointment.
Please bring your current insurance card and a valid photo ID to every appointment.
Payment Policy
To keep our focus on your care rather than paperwork, all co-payments, deductibles, or full payments for services are due in the office at the time of service. We accept the following forms of payment:
-
Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex)
-
Debit Cards
-
HSA & FSA Cards (Health Savings Account / Flexible Spending Account)

Self-Pay Patients
We believe everyone deserves access to quality healthcare regardless of their insurance status. If you do not have insurance or choose not to use it, we offer transparent self-pay rates and a dedicated cash-pay discount for services paid in full at the time of your visit. We are happy to discuss these cost-saving options with you prior to your appointment to ensure your care remains straightforward and affordable.
Frequently Asked
Questions
How is Avalanche Family Practice different from a traditional clinic?
We’ve moved away from the "volume-based" corporate model where patients feel like numbers. At Avalanche, we prioritize longer appointment times (30–60 minutes), direct access to your provider, and a philosophy that treats you like family. We believe healthcare is a partnership, not just a prescription.
Who will be providing my care?
All care is provided by Christina Proulx, FNP-BC. Christina is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience. When you join our practice, you are building a relationship with a single, dedicated provider who knows your history and your goals.
Do I need to be a new patient to see you?
We are currently welcoming new patients into our family! Whether you need a one-time sports physical or a long-term primary care home for chronic condition management, we are here to help.
What services do you offer?
We offer a full spectrum of primary care, including annual physicals, Medicare wellness exams, women’s and men’s health, weight management, and chronic disease support (such as diabetes and hypertension). We also provide on-site labs, EKGs, and medication management.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we accept most major insurance providers. Because plans and networks change frequently, we recommend calling your insurance carrier to confirm that Avalanche Family Practice is an in-network provider for your specific plan.
What does it mean to have "a say in my health"?
It means we don't just tell you what to do. We provide the clinical evidence and the options, and then we listen to your preferences and concerns. You are the expert on your own life, and we are your expert medical partners. Together, we choose the path that’s right for you.
